An exciting opportunity for a senior team member has become available at the Cheshire, Merseyside and North Wales Medicines for Children Local Research Network. This is a thriving group of multidisciplinary healthcare professionals committed to improving child health through clinical research. The successful applicant will actively lead a team of paediatric research nurses and other health care professionals to deliver a portfolio of exciting and important studies. They will be based at Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust in Liverpool but will be responsible for actively managing the research portfolio and resources over a number of sites across the network. Supporting the network manager in achieving goals linked to strategy, providing advise on barriers to progress and ensuring the research workforce is well supported at all times are imperative aspects of the role. Support and development of sites across the network is an essential component of this role requiring r!
egular site visits. Experience of managing healthcare professionals is essential. Research experience is desirable, as is experience in paediatrcs but not essential and training in a range of activities relating to research in children will be provided.
